We Want Kids to Learn, Love, and Lead

At Dayton Students, our goal is not simply to help students attend church while they are in middle or high school. We want to help them build a genuine relationship with Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and develop a faith that lasts long after graduation.

Our goal is simple, we want to help students:

Know Jesus and build a personal relationship with Him.
Find Purpose by discovering how God has uniquely created and gifted them.
Make a Difference by living out their faith wherever God has placed them.

Our vision as a church is to see generations transformed — where faith is lived, passed on, and multiplied.

When We Gather

Dayton Students meets every Wednesday evening, and we'd love for you to join us!

Students begin arriving around 6:30 PM to hang out, play games, enjoy some food, and connect with friends. Our service officially begins at 7:00 PM with worship, teaching, and small-group discussions designed to help students grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships.

Whether it's your first time or you've been coming for years, you'll find a welcoming community where you can belong, have fun, and take your next step with Jesus.

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Common Questions
  • Faith is often built in the everyday moments. Take time to pray together, read Scripture, and talk about what God is doing in your lives. You don't have to be perfect—simply being intentional and present can make a lasting difference in your child's spiritual journey.

  • You don't have to have all the answers to help your child grow in their faith. One of the most powerful things you can do is let them see your own journey with Jesus. Learn together, ask questions together, and model what it looks like to follow Christ in everyday life. God often works through simple, faithful moments as we intentionally pursue Him.

If you're looking to take your next step, we invite you to attend Mission Launch, or connect with one of our pastors or Dayton First Kids leaders. We'd love to help you and your family continue growing in your relationship with Jesus.

  • You are not alone. God sees you, loves you, and will give you the strength you need for each day. Focus on being present, pointing your child to Jesus, and creating simple moments of faith together. Remember, your child doesn't need a perfect parent—they need a faithful one. And as your church family, we're here to support you every step of the way.

  • Many adopted and foster children carry experiences, questions, and emotions that require extra patience, understanding, and grace. One of the greatest gifts you can give them is the consistent reminder that they are deeply loved, valued, and created by God for a purpose.

As a parent or caregiver, you have the unique opportunity to help your child understand their worth in Christ, process their past in a healthy way, and move toward the future God has for them. Be patient, listen well, and create space for honest conversations about their feelings and experiences.

If you're navigating big emotions, difficult questions, or would simply like additional support, we'd love to come alongside you. Reach out to our team, and we'd be honored to connect with you and help however we can.

  • Building a Christ-centered home doesn't have to mean adding more to your calendar. Look for opportunities in the rhythms you already have—during meals, on the drive to school, before bedtime, or while spending time together as a family. Small, intentional conversations about faith and simple moments of prayer can have a lasting impact. The goal isn't perfection; it's inviting Jesus into your everyday life.

  • Prayer is one of the most powerful tools God has given parents. Pray for your children, pray with your children, and invite God into the everyday moments of family life. Through prayer, we seek God's wisdom, patience, and guidance while trusting Him to work in our children's hearts in ways we never could on our own.

  • We believe spiritual growth happens best in community, and there are plenty of opportunities for your family to get connected.
