Life Groups FAQs
A Life Group is a place where people can grow in their relationship with Jesus while building meaningful relationships with others. Life Groups create space for authentic community, spiritual growth, prayer, encouragement, and support through every season of life. Each group is unique, with leaders setting the rhythm, focus, and environment for their group. Some Life Groups meet in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, or at the church, while others connect online or through platforms like the Bible App. No matter where they meet, the heart of every Life Group is the same: growing in faith together while doing life together.
First off, we’re excited that you’re taking the step to get connected! Life Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your faith, build meaningful relationships, and find community within the church.
Here are a few simple ways to join a Life Group:
-
Visit the Welcome Center or Get Connected area before or after service and talk with one of our pastors, staff members, or volunteers.
-
Browse available Life Groups through our online group directory to find one that fits your season of life, schedule, or interests.
-
Talk to someone you know who is already part of a Life Group and ask about joining them.
-
Fill out a connection form online, and we’ll help you find a group that’s right for you.
No matter where you are in your faith journey, there’s a place for you here.

Every Life Group is unique because every group is made up of different people, passions, and seasons of life. Some groups focus on Bible studies or discussing the weekend message, while others gather around shared interests, serve together in the community, or simply spend time building friendships. No matter the format or focus, every Life Group is centered around meaningful relationships and spiritual growth. The goal is to create a space where people can encourage one another, grow in their faith, and do life together.
Absolutely! Finding the right Life Group can take time, and it’s completely okay to explore different groups until you find a place where you feel connected and encouraged. Building meaningful relationships and opening up to others does not always happen overnight, so give yourself grace throughout the process.
It’s also important to remember that no Life Group is perfect because no person is perfect. Every group is made up of people who are learning, growing, and walking through life together. Be patient, stay open, and give relationships time to develop. If you realize a particular group is not the best fit for your season of life or personality, don’t be discouraged. We would love to help you find another group where you can continue growing in faith and community.
This may be a sign that God is leading you to start a Life Group of your own! Sometimes God places a passion, burden, or vision within us not only to grow personally, but to help create space for others to grow as well. Whether it’s centered around Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, serving, or a shared interest, your group could become a place where people find encouragement, community, and deeper faith.

The good news is that you will not have to do it alone. Our leadership team is here to support, encourage, and equip you every step of the way as you take that next step of faith.
The first step is to complete our Life Group Leader application. Once that’s submitted, someone from our leadership team will connect with you to help equip and prepare you for leading a group. From there, you can begin inviting people, building community, and creating a space where others can grow in their faith and relationships together.
Don’t worry — you do not have to be a Bible scholar or have all the answers to lead a Life Group. Leading is less about being perfect and more about creating a welcoming space where people can grow together in their faith. We provide resources, discussion guides, study materials, and practical tools to help make leading a group simple and encouraging for both you and your group members.

You will also have support along the way. Our leadership team is here to encourage, equip, and walk alongside you with prayer, guidance, and resources as you grow in confidence as a Life Group leader.
